OutLift collects account and workout data so the app can provide social fitness tracking, leaderboards, and progress features.

Data We Collect

  • Account details (email, name, username, profile settings)
  • Workout logs, posts, comments, and reactions
  • Apple Health data (steps, workouts) — only when you grant permission
  • Subscription and purchase history (managed by RevenueCat and the App Store)
  • Device identifier for vendors (IDFV), app interaction events, and aggregated performance data used for install attribution
  • Diagnostic data and crash telemetry to improve reliability

How We Use Data

  • Provide app features and personalize your experience
  • Power leaderboards, rivalries, and social feed
  • Detect abuse, secure accounts, and enforce platform rules
  • Operate analytics and support debugging/monitoring

Advertising & Attribution

We use AppsFlyer to measure how new users discover OutLift and to evaluate the performance of our advertising. AppsFlyer collects technical identifiers (IDFV), interaction events (installs, signups, subscriptions), and aggregated performance data. Attribution on iOS happens through Apple's SKAdNetwork — we do not collect or use your IDFA, and we do not track you across other companies' apps and websites.

For more details, see AppsFlyer's Services Privacy Policy.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We only share data with infrastructure and measurement providers required to operate the service: hosting (Render, Supabase), payments (RevenueCat, Apple), error tracking (Sentry), product analytics (PostHog), push notifications (Expo), and install attribution (AppsFlyer).

Retention and Deletion

You can request account deletion from the app settings. Deleted account data is removed or anonymized according to operational and legal requirements.

Data Portability

You can request a machine-readable export of your account data through the app.
